Briar Belgrave
Briar is a highly experienced planner having worked in both the public and private sector in Australia and New Zealand. Briar works with private, local and central government clients throughout New Zealand on strategic and policy planning projects. She also has significant experience in the preparation of legislation and national direction instruments for central government. She is experienced in all stages of the RMA plan-making process, from drafting provisions and Section 32 reports through to the preparation of evidence and representing councils and submitters at hearings. Briar has experience in preparing spatial plans, growth strategies and future development strategies on behalf of councils and is a certified engagement practitioner. Briar holds a Masters (with honours) in Resource and Environmental Planning from Massey University and is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
