Cosette Pearson

Cosette completed a Bachelor of Environmental Planning from the University of Waikato in 2015, before beginning her planning career at Auckland Council where she was selected for the Planning Graduate Programme. On completion of the program, Cosette joined Auckland Council’s Plans and Places Policy Department as a Policy Planner. During her time at Auckland Council, Cosette has been involved in preparing council-initiated plan changes and processing private plan change requests to the Auckland Unitary Plan, as well as being involved in the preparation of structure plans and spatial plans.

Cosette was a member of the Auckland Emerging Planners’ Committee in 2019 and 2020 and is an Intermediate Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
