Jo started her career at B&A in 2005 and recently returned to the fold in 2026 after a few years away gaining further expertise elsewhere in the industry. She has worked on a wide range of complex planning projects, including Fast-track land development, infrastructure projects, large-format retail, residential superlots, and major shopping centre developments.
Jo brings a strong foundation in resource management, having advised land developers, commercial clients, public agencies, and iwi authorities. Her background also includes experience as a development manager within the property industry. She offers broad expertise across planning frameworks and approval processes, including policy work; preparation of feasibility studies, AEEs, consultation reports, and submissions; and delivery of expert evidence at Council hearings. Jo is known for her clear communication, effective team leadership, ability to foster productive and genuine relationships with stakeholders, and consistent delivery of high-quality work under tight timeframes.
