Katherine Hu

Katherine completed her Bachelor of Planning (Hons) degree at the University of Auckland in 2015. After graduating Katherine spent 2 years working as a planning consultant at Taupo before moving to Hamilton, where she worked for Hamilton City Council as a resource consent planner. Having gained three years of experience across a broad range of resource-consenting projects, Katherine worked as a policy planner in their City Planning team, where she worked on different plan changes and strategic planning projects. She recently returned to university to complete her Master of Urban Design to expand her skill set specifically in urban design. Katherine joined the team in January 2023 and is an Intermediate Member of the NZPI.
