Sam has worked as an urban designer and planner since 2013 with experience across the public and private sectors. With qualifications in both planning and urban design, he brings a practical understanding of how policy, and place-making come together to deliver successful urban environments. Sam has worked on a wide range of projects including growth planning, structure plans, urban design policy, development assessments and major transport infrastructure initiatives. Sam brings a practical approach, collaborative working style, and ability to balance design quality with regulatory and delivery considerations.
He is a Full Member of the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI) and a member of the Hamilton City and Tauranga City Urban Design Panels.
