Sam Le Heron

Sam joined B&A as a Senior Associate in June 2024. Sam has over 14 years’ experience in leadership, policy development, project management and resource consent planning. He has been a full member of NZPI since 2017. He spent his first decade split between policy planning and consent planning at Hamilton City Council (HCC). He worked his way up to team lead and acting unit manager for Planning Guidance at HCC. More recently Sam has been an Environmental Planning Team Lead for NZTA.

Sam has a comprehensive understanding of local and central government planning processes. Sam is passionate about planning and the positive and influential role planning contributes to the places we all live. Sam has a Master in Planning from the University of Otago.
