Building Act and RMA Tensions Research (GNS Science)

B&A staff designed the methodology and co-authored a research report which explored how the Building Act (2005) and the Resource Management Act 1991 work in practice with regard to the management of and response to, natural hazards, natural hazard risk and climate change. The report reflects potential issues and opportunities and potential overlaps and tensions between the two Acts.
