Lead consultant working with tāngata whenua and Northland Regional Council, to develop a shared strategic direction and Implementation Plan for
their partnership in resource management and local government out to 2040.
This required extensive workshopping and engagement with council staff, elected members and tāngata whenua to create a shared pathway forward on a number of key focus areas, including capacity and capability, Māori representation, water/marine, and climate crisis economic development.
This project demonstrates B&A’s capability and proven track record taking a Te Tiriti based partnership approach to relationships between Māori and local government.
