B&A has been assisting Whangārei District Council with its rolling review process between 2016-2020. This has involved establishing a close working relationship with the Whangārei DC policy team and key stakeholders to prepare various chapters of the plan and guide these through the section 32 evaluation, notification, hearing and appeal process. Key chapter topics completed or currently in progress include; Papakāinga, Notable and Public Trees, Hazardous Substances, Genetically Modified Organisms, Regionally Significant Infrastructure (Port, Airport and Hospital), Signs and Lighting, Minerals and Rural-Urban Expansion.
